Duties & Taxes

Each country has different rules concerning import duties and taxes. Often, there may not be a charge, but there is also the chance that upon arrival the customer will be charged duties/taxes; in which case the customer is responsible for the extra charges.

PAID BY RECEIVER

FORWARDTOOLS SHOP is responsible for arranging the shipment of your order. However, it’s your responsibility to pay any duties and taxes charged by customs in your country and prepare the required clearance documents.

What’s more, customs offices in some countries or regions require the importer of record to provide a particular form of identification before releasing a shipment. You may also be required to provide an identification number such as a Unique Identification Number, CPF, or Tax ID.

Note:

To ensure the courier(e.g. DHL, UPS) can deliver your goods in shortest possible time after entering your country or customs union, the courier may pay the customs authority on your behalf for any duties and taxes that are due on the goods. Once the duties and taxes are fully repaid to the courier, the goods will be delivered to you.

RETURN & REFUND

We don't accept any return or refund resulting from:

  • You refusing to pay the customs clearance fee;
  • You preparing the wrong clearance documents;
  • You placing a wrong order;

Forwardtools NOTE

Import and tax rules are (a) different in every country; (b) changing often; (c) highly dependent on the shipment size and contents; and (d) not consistently applied by your country's different ports and customs houses. Therefore FORWARDTOOLS cannot offer you specific advice about how much tax you will have to pay, or any guarantees related to this issue.

IOSS

ALL YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT THE IMPORT ONE-STOP SHOP (IOSS) AT FORWARDTOOLS SHOP

From 1st July 2021, all goods imported to the EU need to be subject to VAT which is only applicable to orders made by EU buyers whose goods are valued at over €22 but less than €150. As for the imported goods that don't exceed €22 allows the value-added tax (VAT) exemption.

The Import One-Stop Shop (IOSS) was created to facilitate and simplify the collection, declaration, and payment of VAT for imported goods sold by distant sellers.

FORWARDTOOLS Shop now stops charging the VAT for the orders made from the EU countries/territories which means that the EU buyers need to pay the customs clearance fee by themselves when the goods are imported into their countries. In addition, REWA is NOT liable to any charges due to the VAT non-payment behavior.

Thank you for purchasing at REWA Shop, below are the VAT details of the EU:
